The problem
Patients want two answers: what will it cost, and when can I come?
We set ourselves a brief: a modern dental clinic in a Nordic town. Many clinic websites hide prices behind "ask for a quote", explain treatments in clinical language, and make you phone during office hours to book.
For a nervous patient, every one of those is a reason to put off the visit. For the clinic, it means a phone that rings all day with questions the website could have answered.
The idea and approach
Calm first, then clear, then one tap to book.
Lahtorin is an invented name, inspired by the sound of Finnish words. We built the identity around the calm of a northern shoreline: a soft fjord blue, warm off-white, a single coral accent, and one friendly typeface that stays clear at small sizes.
The website is organised around the patient's questions. Every treatment has a plain-language page with its length and price. The next free times are on the home page, and booking takes three steps: treatment, time, confirm.
